Trainee Instructor

A Trainee Instructor has studied for and passed a very demanding theory test. He/she will also have displayed a high standard of driving to pass the Instructors driving test. The final test of instructional ability is almost impossible without some practical experience and it is at this stage they can apply for a trainee license

The licence has a maximum term of 6 months and is displayed on the training car on a pink triangle. It is designed to give the Trainee the practical experience to take the final stage of qualification before becoming an Approved Driving Instructor.

The lack of experience should make little difference. The right attitude is more important. Older Instructors can get stuck in a rut and fail to adapt to the individual new driver. Whereas a new instructor is fresh and full of enthusiasm.

Road Safety

We reserve the right to withdraw the training car for the driving test without notice should the test candidate be unprepared and a risk to public safety.

We reserve the right to cancel a lesson if we suspect the pupil is suffering from the effects of alcohol or drug abuse. Your instructor will have the right to charge for loss of lesson.

Machan now needs a car!

Postponements

We cannot be held responsible for postponement of lessons due to illness or mechanical breakdown, nor for the driving test being postponed by the Driving Standards Agency.

We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss due to an unsuccessful test.

If All Goes Wrong

Our aim is to provide the highest quality service, but if we get it wrong please let us know. Any complaint would be treated fairly and in confidence.
